Good news Back to the Future fans living in the UK!

To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, Back to the Future will be returning to the cinemas on October 1st.

And don’t worry, they haven’t added 3D or anything, it’s just Back to the Future as you know and love. After the theatrical run all three movies will debut on Blu-ray with the ‘Back to the Future 25th Anniversay Trilogy’ blu ray box set on october 25th.

FACTOID – Star Michael J Fox was only ten days younger than his on-screen mum; Lea Thompson and almost three years older than his on-screen dad; Crispin Glover. (To this day, every time I see Crispin Glover on screen I think “Man, he looks good for his age” I totally forget that he was playing an old guy)

No word yet as to whether or not the two sequels will get a theatrical run. I’m guessing some theatres may put on a marathon but as of yet, there’s no word.
